I had the opportunity to share personal views on leadership in the age of Twitter and SnapChat with the Social C-Suite, and you can see below why I think  being part of the social conversation is such a big part of leading an organisation. 

Engaging on social media is not always easy, and for leaders it can raise extra anxieties.  I know - I was not an early adopter and still have moments of insecurity: what if this is the tweet that confirms I'm an imposter

But the benefits outweigh the risks: better, faster and wider connections at work, at home and in the world make me better at my job. I think.
