It’s the beauty brand everyone’s been talking about the last few months since it finally announced a UK launch. So, now it’s here - after many influencer partnerships and masses of coverage - does Glossier live up to the hype?

For those who have missed the hysteria, Glossier is a beauty brand founded in 2010 by American beauty blogger Emily Weiss (aka Into the Gloss). It is massively popular in the US, and beauty junkies this side of the pond have  been counting down the minutes for it to arrive here. Glossier is known for its skincare and makeup products being simple, to the point and easy to use – great fit for the current trend of understandable and approachable beauty – and with someone like Emily heading up the brand, it was always bound to be a hit with UK media.

So is it worth the hype? Well, if you’re in the market for a beauty purchase, I’d say give the Milky Jelly Cleanser and a Super Serum a go. They’re winners in my book. What’s still to come from Glossier? After it received such a big welcome to the UK, I can’t wait to find out!
