About Me

Denise Kaufmann is the Chief Executive Officer of Ketchum London. She relocated to London in 2010 from Ketchum New York to take on the role of managing director, client service. During that time she served as the global team leader for Philips Lighting as part of OneVoice, a consortium of Omnicom agencies, led by Ketchum and Fleishman-Hillard. Prior to moving to London, she was the global account director for FedEx and was responsible for managing the company’s corporate reputation management programs in 13 countries around the world. Before joining the New York office in 2004, Denise was based in Hong Kong and oversaw three of the agency’s largest global clients in Asia Pacific: FedEx, Dow Chemical and IBM. She also served as the firm’s director of client services for Greater China beginning in 2001. 

Joining Ketchum in 1997, Denise was a vice president/group manager in Ketchum’s Midwest Brand Marketing Practice, based in Chicago, where she managed the global integrated marketing and public relations programs on behalf of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest not-for-profit service organization. As global account director for Lions Clubs, she managed public relations activities in more than 18 countries throughout the world and coordinated outreach efforts for the organization’s $300 million foundation working with corporations, NGOs and other international health agencies around the globe. In addition to international programming expertise, Denise is experienced in providing senior strategic counsel in a number of specialty communications areas including: corporate reputation management, employee communications, crisis and issues management, consumer health education, corporate social responsibility, environmental awareness and brand-building programs. 

With more than 25 years of experience, Denise’s career has encompassed a wide range of marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives on behalf of clients in the brand marketing, healthcare and corporate arenas. Over the course of her career, she has built a prestigious client portfolio that includes such corporate leaders as: Philips, FedEx, The Dow Chemical Company, IBM, Northwest Airlines, Mitsubishi Electronics, The American Medical Association, the Quaker Oats Company and the Emerson Electric Company.
